Mary E. Ellison

	Mary E. Ellison, 78, of DuQuoin, passed away at 2:12 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
	Mary was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
	She was born April 1, 1923 at Marion, the daughter of Freeman and Nola Belle (Langford) Reeder.  She was first married to James Farley.  She married Lawrence Ellison on January 17, 1948 at Mt. Vernon and he survives.
	 She is survived by her husband of DuQuoin; children, Pearl and Francisco (Paco) Herrera of Savoy, Joan and John Woods of Memphis, Tenn., Nancy and Ron Keller of DuQuoin, Steve and Patsy Ellison of Tamaroa, Tom and Carrie Ellison of DuQuoin; 12 grandchildren, Jeff Storey, Lisa Thompson, Holly Herrera, P.J. Herrera, Roger & Sheila Woods, Katrina & David Waldman, Larry & Christine Ellison, Joe& Tracy Ellison, Robert & Vicki Ellison, Chad Ellison & friend Vanessa Roach, Scott Ellison & friend Shannon Stokes; 19 great-grandchildren, Alex & Clayton Thompson, Andrew Herrera, Nicholas & Katelyn Herrera, J.T. & Sarah Woods, Zachary, Kourtnie & Brent Waldman, Tyler, Tayler & Trey Ellison, Nicholas & Ashlynn Ellison, Jeremiah & Michael Ellison, Alyssa Ellison and Tara Ellison; brothers and sisters, Edna Hart of Eldorado, Juanita & Bob Maitzen of Chicago, Thelma & Lonnie Barger of Eldorado, Opal Glascock of Eldorado, George (Jimmy) & Elva Reeder of Eldorado, Anna Belle Spencer of Eldorado, Paul & Debbie Reeder of Eldorado; sister-in-law, Dee Reeder of Chicago.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Stella Jean Ellison; granddaughter, Gina Woods Curtis; brothers & sisters, Freeman Reeder, Charles Reeder, Shirley Mae Reeder, Ruby Nell Reeder, Shannon Ray Reeder.
	Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 25 at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Bob Askew officiating.
	Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
	 Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Asbury Methodist Cemetery at New Haven, Ill.
	Friends may make memorials to Marshall Browning Hospital Auxiliary.
